Mike Smith's deputies from Mecklenburg county had a big event at Chick-Fil-A Saturday August 25th at the Albemarle Rd. store. Thanks to Barry McAllaster for his generousity and enthusiasm. Thanks to all the deputies for their hard work. As usual Mike Smith pulls another rabbit out of that deputy's hat....a great day for all the Hometown Heroes crowd.

The Mecklenburg County Sheriffs' Office honored Chik-fil-A and Chief Supply for their contributions to the Master Deputies' charity of choice, Hometown Heroes.

We returned to the NC Outer Banks for this years' ride and once again, the Weather Channel was nearby...Sorry Jim Cantore, but no major storm to report on after all the hype...we rode out the wind and a couple showers for a beautiful but hot ride home.

Brandon was honored for his courageous fight against cancer on Friday September 21st at Porter Ridge High School. Drew Boggs of Boggs Paving flew Brandon into the game in his helicopter. Thank you Drew for helping with this special occasion. It was a wonderful night for all who attended. Thanks to all our riders who honored Brandon by riding in with Hometown Heroes.
